Tour: private Lemosho

We climbed Mt Kili at the beginning of February 2012 and then went on safari for 4 days. Our montain trek was fantastic, we were looked after so well by our guides Batchi, Kunda and Felix. Batchi was incredible, he set the pace for us and was our leader. He was very knowledgeable and informative. he made sure we knew what each stage involved and briefed us every night. On the last night up to the summit these amazing men sang as we trekked in the dark and it really helped us to stay focused and determined to succeed.

We thought, if they can do this and sing, then we owe it to them to get to the top. We all made it to the summit and it was worth every step! Our cook and waiter were wonderful too. we were fed so well, with really great food, hot cooked breakfasts, soups, fresh fruits, wonderful dinners even hot chips up the mountain one day! Tamimu, our waiter had the most infectious laugh, he kept all the camp smiling. And the porters were incredible, the way they packed up and took off up the mountain with their loads to set up camp ready for us at the end of the day.

It was very impressive to watch, we really appreciated their huge effort, and they smiled as they did it. The whole team were happy, friendly and really helpful beyond expectations. They made our holiday very special. Thank you TE.

We then had a classic lodge safari to Lake Manyara, Serengeti NP and Ngorongoro Crater. Again, our driver ,Nicco, was a lovely friendly person who looked after us very well and with great humour. The accommodation was superb and the staff at the tent lodges were very attentive and helpful. I

n fact every Tanzanian person we met was friendly. We couldn’t have had a better time in Africa, Tanzania Experience were a great company to be involved with and we recommend them to anyone planning a trip to Tanzania.
