Our management team
Management and Operations
To coordinate hundreds of climbs a year with between one and more than 100 guests per climb and an accompanying crew of up to 200 needs some serious management skills. Yet, our dedicated and highly professional team provide individual attention and care to each of our guests, whatever their needs. All our managers have been on the mountain several times and climbed various routes; between them, they have extensive personal experience and knowledge of the highest mountain in Africa. Book with Kilimanjaro-Experience and you are in very safe hands.
A successful climb is a safe climb, but a conquered summit is a satisfying success for all. Getting to the top is not the achievement of only one person – it is a victory shared by all involved and made possible by the interplay of the entire team with the clients and vice versa. We’ll be guiding you and rooting for you every step of the way, and we’ll be there to celebrate with you when you get back down again.
Abraham Mollel – Operations Manager
Abraham was born and raised on the foot of Mount Meru in the Arusha region. Staying true to his home ground, he majored in Mountain Climbing and Wildlife as part of his Cultural Anthropology and Tourism degree. It is no surprise that he found his calling as Operations Manager Trekking, coordinating all our Kilimanjaro climbs. You will meet Abraham for a thorough briefing and equipment check before your climb. Expect some genuine words of encouragement from him as he knows the strain going up, but also the exhilarating feeling of standing on top of the Roof of Africa.
